Time Off
New hires at Attachmate get 96 hours of vacation the first year. After only three years at Attachmate, you move to 132 hours of vacation a year.
Attachmate offers eleven holidays a year and you can even choose two of those days off yourself.
Attachmate pays you when you're sick and can't work. If you have immediate family members who need your help because they're sick, Attachmate lets you use your sick leave for them, too.
If you can't work for extended periods of time, Attachmate offers both short term and long term disability coverage.
Retirement
Attachmate's 401(k) plan is among the best in the nation.
Attachmate not only gives you a match for the money you put into the plan but it's a $1 for $1 match. Attachmate matches the first 5% of pay you put in so at $1 for $1 you get another 5% when you put in that much.
When you're hired you don't have to wait long to enroll in our 401(k) plan. After just one pay check (we pay twice a month), you can enroll in our plan.
You can choose from twenty-six investment funds ranging from low risk to high risk options.
You can change your investment choices - anytime! Attachmate employees can move their money between funds or change their payroll deductions any day the stock market is open.
You can call 24 hours a day to place your order.
You can take a loan from your 401(k) account for certain things like buying a home and sending your kids to college.
Health Care
In every location throughout the U.S., Attachmate provides employees with a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan. In areas with many employees, a local Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) may also be available. Every Attachmate employee can get coverage for himself or herself and Attachmate pays employee-only premiums at 100%! Attachmate pays about 80% of the cost of premiums for your family when you enroll them. The same goes for prescription, dental and vision coverage, too.
Attachmate employees get two times their pay in life insurance and another two times pay in accidental death and dismemberment insurance - all at Attachmate's expense. If that's not enough, you can buy additional group life insurance through payroll deduction.
Attachmate offers Flexible Spending Accounts which let you use pre-tax money to pay your out-of-pocket expenses for health care and child care.
Other Great Benefits
Attachmate provides a confidential Employee Assistance Program to all employees and their enrolled family members. It's all available through an 800 telephone number. Attachmate pays the entire cost of the first six calls you make.
Our Tuition Assistance Program is available for you immediately on hire. You can be reimbursed for up to $3,500 a year for qualifying undergraduate courses or $5,000 a year for qualifying graduate courses.
